Husband and wife team John Nave and Karin Anderson purchased their first rental property as a way to afford their own home.

They wanted to create the environment they wished they had as tenants – beautifully maintained with comfortable outdoor spaces, encouraging personalization of individual units and a pets welcome policy.

They loved the big city conveniences that Los Angeles offers but missed the small neighborhood feeling from their childhoods. So they created a community feeling within the property, which inspired the name Creating Community.
